My Funded Futures runs one of the most unusual challenge structures in the futures prop space. The firm hands you a single standardized evaluation with the same rules across every plan, then lets you choose what happens after you pass. The first part of this page present you with a data table that has all of the available My Funded Futures challenges which you can sort and get a better visual. The next part of the page goes over what makes My Funded Futures different from other futures prop firms.

What Makes My Funded Futures Different From Other Futures Prop Firms
Most futures prop firms package each account into a single rulebook. Evaluation rules, funded rules, and payout rules are all bundled together. If you want a cheaper entry, you trade a smaller account with different evaluation parameters. If you want faster payouts, you pick a firm built around that feature.
MFFU inverted that model. The evaluation is standardized across every plan. The profit target, drawdown, consistency rule, and trading days are identical whether you pick Flex, Rapid, or Pro. What changes is what you receive after passing: the profit split, payout cadence, drawdown type on the funded account, contract limits, and live account transition path.
This matters because it separates the two decisions most prop firms force you to make in one shot. At MFFU you pass the same evaluation everyone else does, then select your funded experience. The rest of what separates MFFU from competitors like Bulenox, Apex Trader Funding, and Tradeify stacks up as follows:
- Zero activation fees on every plan. Most competing firms charge $100 to $900 after you pass the evaluation. MFFU charges nothing. The monthly evaluation subscription is your only cost to funded.
- Standardized evaluation across Flex, Rapid, and Pro. Same $3,000 target, $2,000 max loss, 50% consistency rule, 2 minimum trading days on every $50K plan. Same scaling applied to $25K, $100K, and $150K.
- Daily payouts on the Rapid plan. After a $2,100 buffer on a $50K account and 24 hours since first trade, you can request a payout every calendar day. Most competing firms offer weekly or bi-weekly.
- 90/10 split on Rapid from day one. No ramp phase, no first-$10K carve-out. The full 90% kicks in on trade one of the Sim Funded account.
- No daily loss limit on any plan. The only floor you manage against is the trailing drawdown, either EOD on Flex/Pro or intraday on Rapid.
- Explicit path to live capital. Every plan has a defined transition to a live account funded by MFFU. Flex requires 5 consecutive payouts. Rapid triggers on $10,000 in a single day or risk team approval. Pro transitions after 3 payouts or excess profit above the $100K sim cap.
- Seven trading platforms supported. NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, Quantower, Volumetrica, Volsys/Volbook, and ATAS. Fewer than Bulenox's 20+, but covers every serious futures platform.
- Instant payout approvals. Most withdrawal requests are approved in minutes. Manual review, when required, takes 6 to 12 business hours.
The trade-offs are real: Tier 1 news events are restricted on Rapid and Pro Sim Funded accounts, MFFU has only been operating since November 2023, a 21-day cooldown applies after a live account breach, and the restricted country list is long.
The Unified MFFU Evaluation (All Plans)
Regardless of which plan you select, the evaluation rules are identical. The plan you choose only determines what happens after you pass. This is the stage you pay a monthly subscription for, trade CME Group futures on a simulated account, and hit the profit target within the drawdown.

The evaluation drawdown is end-of-day trailing. Only the closing balance counts against the max loss. Intraday equity swings do not move the floor. This is significantly more forgiving than the real-time trailing drawdown many competing firms use during evaluation. If you're not sure which drawdown type fits your style, our trailing drawdown vs EOD drawdown guide breaks down the mechanics.
The 50% Consistency Rule Explained
No single trading day's profit can exceed 50% of your total evaluation profit when you request to pass. On a $50K eval with a $3,000 target, no single day should account for more than $1,500.
The rule does not breach your account. Exceeding 50% on one day simply means you need to trade additional days to balance the ratio. If you make $2,100 on a day where your total profit is $2,500 ($2,100 / $2,500 = 84%), you keep trading until additional days dilute the percentage below 50%.
Practical implication: on a $50K eval, aim for $400 to $600 per session. At that pace you hit the $3,000 target in 6 to 8 days and no single day represents more than 20 to 25% of your total. The consistency rule becomes irrelevant if you pace the eval rather than trying to smash it in one session.
The Pro One-Day Add-On
Pro plan buyers can purchase a One-Day Add-On that removes the consistency rule from the evaluation, allowing you to pass in a single trading day. Useful if you want to front-load risk on a single high-conviction session. For most traders, pacing the eval across multiple days is both cheaper and safer. Our guide on how to pass a prop firm evaluation walks through the discipline required for this kind of high-stakes single-session attempt.
The Three MFFU Challenge Plans

Flex Plan: The Budget Entry Point
Flex is MFFU's most affordable plan. At $84/month on the $25K size, it's the cheapest way into the MFFU ecosystem. It features no buffer requirement, no activation fee, no consistency rule on the Sim Funded, and a gradual scaling system that starts small and grows as you prove profitability.

The 50% retention rule on Flex is important to understand. You can withdraw at most half of your net profits per request, and the other half stays in the account. This is different from Rapid and Pro, where the full profit above the buffer is withdrawable.
Flex Strengths
- Cheapest entry into MFFU at $84/month on the $25K.
- No buffer requirement. You can request payouts after 5 qualifying winning days without building a separate buffer first.
- T1 news trading permitted on Sim Funded, unlike Rapid and Pro.
- Scaling plan forces disciplined risk management and rewards consistency.
Flex Weak Points
- 80/20 split is meaningfully lower than Rapid's 90/10.
- 50% retention rule caps how much you can actually withdraw per cycle.
- The scaling plan limits your contract size early, which slows down the path to meaningful profit.
- Live transition requires 5 consecutive payouts, which is a longer path than Rapid's or Pro's.
Rapid Plan: Daily Payouts and the 90/10 Split
Rapid is MFFU's performance-focused plan. The headline features are the 90/10 profit split from day one and daily payout frequency after the buffer clears. The trade-off is intraday trailing drawdown on the Sim Funded account, which is more aggressive than the EOD drawdown used on Flex and Pro.

How the intraday trailing drawdown works: Your Max Loss trails your equity high-water mark in real time during the session. The distance between your HWM and the Max Loss stays constant ($2,000 on the $50K) while trailing. As your unrealized P&L prints new highs, both the HWM and Max Loss move up. Once the trailing Max Loss reaches $100, it locks permanently. From that point the account simply must maintain at least $100 at all times.

You build the buffer in realized profit first. Once the buffer clears, payouts refresh every 24 hours at market close. First payout window opens exactly 24 hours after your first trade on the Sim Funded, as long as the buffer has cleared and you meet the $500 minimum.
Rapid Live Transition
Two pathways to live capital on Rapid:
- Automatic trigger: Hitting $10,000 net profit in a single trading day triggers automatic live transition. Any profit above $10,000 that day is forfeited.
- Risk team review: Consistent payout performance is reviewed and approved for live transition by the Risk Management Team.
The Reserve Program is unique to Rapid. Upon live transition, up to $5,000 of your Sim Funded profits are held in a Reserve balance. Reserve funds are released as a performance bonus when you complete 20 profitable trading days on the Live account AND accumulate $10,000 in cumulative gross payouts from Live. If the Live account breaches, Reserve funds first offset the negative balance, and any remainder is re-deposited into the dormant Sim Funded account for withdrawal only.
Rapid Strengths
- 90/10 split from trade one on Sim Funded, no ramp.
- Daily payouts after the buffer clears. Fastest cadence MFFU offers.
- No scaling rule on Sim Funded, immediate access to max contracts.
- No consistency rule on Sim Funded payouts.
- Available on every account size from $25K to $150K.
Rapid Weak Points
- Intraday trailing drawdown is punishing for traders holding unrealized losses through volatility.
- T1 news trading restricted on Sim Funded. No positions within 2 minutes before/after releases.
- The Reserve Program locks up to $5,000 of Sim Funded profits during live transition, released only after 20 profitable live days AND $10,000 in cumulative Live payouts.
- The $10,000 single-day automatic trigger forfeits profit above that threshold.
Pro Plan: Maximum Flexibility for Experienced Traders
Pro is MFFU's premium plan. It sacrifices the 90/10 split (Pro is 80/20) in exchange for EOD drawdown on the Sim Funded, no consistency rule at the payout stage, and the highest total payout cap MFFU offers: up to $100,000 per user across Pro accounts before excess profit rolls to live.

One-time early withdrawal: Pro allows a single payout request before the buffer fully clears, up to 60% of accumulated profit, with a $1,000 minimum. The remaining 40% stays in the account to continue trading. This is a feature Rapid does not offer.
Pro Live Transition
Pro transitions to live on three triggers: 3 consecutive payouts from Sim Funded, $20,000 profit milestone (review trigger, not automatic), or excess profit above the $100K sim cap rolling into the live balance. Live accounts start with static funding and restrict withdrawals to amounts above the initial balance.
Live Account Funding caps by size: $2,000 to $5,000 on the $50K Pro, $3,000 to $7,500 on the $100K Pro, $4,000 to $10,000 on the $150K Pro. After 20 winning days at 4% of initial balance and 3 payouts on live, the initial balance is fully released for withdrawal down to $140.
Pro Strengths
- EOD trailing drawdown on Sim Funded, significantly more forgiving than Rapid's intraday trailing.
- No consistency rule on Sim Funded payouts.
- No scaling rule. Full max contracts available from trade one.
- $100,000 total payout cap per user is the highest MFFU offers.
- Excess profit above the cap rolls into live account funding.
- One-time early withdrawal before buffer clears.
Pro Weak Points
- 80/20 split loses 10 percentage points per trade compared to Rapid.
- 14 calendar day wait between payouts, slowest cadence MFFU offers.
- $1,000 minimum withdrawal, highest on MFFU.
- T1 news trading restricted on Sim Funded.
- Highest monthly subscription across the three plans.

Reset Fees
If you breach drawdown during the evaluation phase, you can reset the account rather than repurchase. Reset fees vary by plan and size:
Rapid Evaluation Resets:
- $25K Rapid: $87
- $50K Rapid: $157
- $100K Rapid: $267
- $150K Rapid: $347
Flex Evaluation Resets (Sim Funded reset fees in parentheses):
- $25K Flex: $87 ($399 for Sim Funded reset)
- $50K Flex: $107 ($499 for Sim Funded reset)
Pro Evaluation Resets:
- $50K Pro: $227
- $100K Pro: $344
- $150K Pro: $477
Important: Sim Funded accounts on Rapid and Pro cannot be reset. A breach on those accounts permanently closes the account. Only the Flex Sim Funded offers a reset option (at the higher $399 or $499 fee).
MFFU Drawdown Mechanics Explained
MFFU uses two drawdown types depending on the account stage and plan. Understanding which applies where is essential before choosing a plan.
EOD Trailing Drawdown (All Evaluations, Flex Sim, Pro Sim, All Live)
The EOD drawdown only updates at the end of each trading day. It trails your highest end-of-day balance. Intraday equity swings do not affect the threshold. This is the more forgiving option and is used on every MFFU evaluation regardless of which plan you plan to buy afterward.
Example on a $50K account with $2,000 EOD drawdown: Starting balance $50,000. Floor at $48,000. Day 1 closes at $51,000. Floor moves to $49,000. Day 2 closes at $50,500. Floor stays at $49,000 (trail only ratchets up). Day 3 closes at $52,500. Floor moves to $50,500.
Intraday Trailing Drawdown (Rapid Sim Funded Only)
The intraday drawdown trails your equity high-water mark in real time during the session. Both realized and unrealized P&L count toward the floor. If your account touches a new equity high intraday, the floor moves up and never comes back down.
Once the trailing Max Loss reaches $100, it locks permanently. From that point the account just needs to maintain at least $100 at all times.
Example on a $50K Rapid with $2,000 intraday trailing: Starting balance $50,000. Floor at $48,000. You open a position that runs to +$1,500 unrealized mid-session. Your high-water mark is now $51,500 and your floor has moved to $49,500. You give back $800 before closing. The floor stays at $49,500 (the ratchet only moves up). Close at +$700 realized. Floor stays at $49,500 until you print a new equity high.
For a deeper dive into how these two models affect different trading styles, read our drawdown explainer and trailing vs EOD comparison.
News Trading Policy Across MFFU Challenges
MFFU enforces specific Tier 1 (T1) news restrictions that traders need to know before selecting a plan. The rule is a 2-minute window before and after T1 economic data releases during which no positions or orders (including limit orders) can be in the market.
T1 events include FOMC Meetings, FOMC Minutes, Employment Report, CPI, EIA reports (for energy traders), and Agricultural Reports (for agricultural traders).

Challenge-by-Challenge Strengths and Weaknesses
$25K Flex Challenge
Strength: Cheapest MFFU entry at $84/month. Only size where T1 news trading is permitted on Sim Funded. Good for beginners testing the MFFU system before committing to larger capital.
Weakness: 50% retention on withdrawals. Maximum $3,000 per request. Small absolute profit ceiling per trade cycle given the $1,000 max loss.
$50K Flex Challenge
Strength: T1 news trading permitted on Sim Funded. $5,000 per payout maximum. 5 mini / 50 micro contracts at the top scaling tier.
Weakness: 80/20 split. 50% retention rule still applies. Must build to $2,000+ profit before accessing max contract count due to scaling rule.
$25K Rapid Challenge
Strength: Cheapest entry into the 90/10 split at $109/month. Daily payouts after $1,100 buffer clears.
Weakness: Intraday trailing drawdown with only $1,000 of room is tight. One adverse spike in unrealized P&L can breach the account. Max 3 minis leaves limited scaling room.
$50K Rapid Challenge
Strength: The most popular MFFU account. 5 minis / 50 micros immediately available, 90/10 split, $500 minimum payout, daily cadence after $2,100 buffer clears.
Weakness: Intraday trailing drawdown requires strict risk management on open positions. T1 news restrictions on Sim Funded. Buffer of $2,100 is 70% of the profit target, which slows the first payout cycle.
$100K Rapid Challenge
Strength: 10 mini contracts gives real positional flexibility. $3,000 drawdown room is larger in absolute terms. Still 90/10 split and daily payouts.
Weakness: $267/month subscription is substantial. Drawdown-to-balance ratio is 3% (vs 4% on $50K), so the account actually has tighter risk headroom as a percentage. $3,100 buffer must clear before first payout.
$150K Rapid Challenge
Strength: 15 mini contracts on Sim Funded. $4,500 of drawdown room. Highest payout ceiling among Rapid accounts.
Weakness: $347/month is a serious commitment if the eval takes more than one billing cycle. On Live transition, contracts are reduced to 8 minis maximum. Intraday trailing drawdown remains the constraint.
$50K Pro Challenge
Strength: EOD drawdown on Sim Funded is significantly easier to manage than Rapid's intraday. No consistency rule at payout. $100,000 total cap is the highest MFFU offers.
Weakness: 80/20 split is 10 percentage points less than Rapid. 14-day wait between payouts. $1,000 minimum withdrawal.
$100K Pro Challenge
Strength: 10 mini contracts with EOD drawdown and no consistency rule. $3,100 buffer is reasonable relative to the $6,000 profit target. Excess profit above cap rolls to live funding.
Weakness: $344/month subscription. Bi-weekly payout cadence means your capital is tied up longer between withdrawals than on Rapid.
$150K Pro Challenge
Strength: Largest MFFU account. 15 mini contracts with EOD drawdown. $477/month gets you the highest capital ceiling before the $100K payout cap rolls to live.
Weakness: Highest monthly cost at MFFU. 14-day payout cadence with $1,000 minimum means slower cash cycle than Rapid. If you're not hitting large profits regularly, the $477/month burn rate adds up quickly.

The zero activation fee across every plan is MFFU's largest structural advantage versus firms like Bulenox ($143 to $898) and Apex ($130 to $360). The trade-off is monthly subscription costs that are higher than firms using the activation model, so the total cost to funded depends on how quickly you pass.
Choosing the Right MFFU Challenge for Your Style
If You Are a News Trader
Flex is the only plan that permits T1 news trading on Sim Funded. If CPI, FOMC, or NFP exposure is part of your edge, Flex $25K or $50K is the only MFFU option.
If You Are a Scalper Focused on Fast Turnover
Rapid $50K or $100K. The 90/10 split and daily payouts compound faster than any other MFFU plan. Scalpers naturally avoid large unrealized drawdown, which is the main risk of intraday trailing. The $50K Rapid at $157/month is the sweet spot.
If You Are an Intraday Swing Trader With Wider Stops
Pro $50K or $100K. EOD drawdown on Sim Funded gives your positions room to breathe intraday. 14-day payout cadence is a fit if your trading is larger per trade but less frequent. The 80/20 split is the cost of that drawdown flexibility.
If You Are Testing MFFU for the First Time
Flex $25K at $84/month. Lowest cost to learn the evaluation mechanics, the dashboard, and the payout process. If you pass, the Sim Funded teaches you the funded side at low stakes.
If You Want the Highest Earning Ceiling
Pro $150K. $100,000 payout cap per user, excess rolls to live funding up to $10,000 initial balance. Requires capital for the $477/month subscription and patience for the 14-day payout cycle.
If You Are Running Multiple Prop Firms
MFFU's zero activation fee structure makes it one of the cheapest firms to add to a multi-prop portfolio, provided you pass quickly. The $50K Rapid gives you daily payouts, which helps with cash flow if you're running several firms simultaneously. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I switch plans after passing the evaluation?
No. The Sim Funded account follows the plan you selected at purchase. Switching requires a fresh evaluation on the new plan.
Are there any activation fees on MFFU?
No. Every plan has $0 activation fee. The monthly evaluation subscription is the only cost to funded.
How long does the evaluation take?
Minimum 2 trading days, no maximum. The subscription remains active until you pass or cancel, so there is no forced time limit.
What platforms does MFFU support?
Seven: NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView (via Tradovate), Quantower, Volumetrica, Volbook/Volsys, and ATAS. NinjaTrader connects via Rithmic.
What is the maximum number of accounts I can hold?
Up to 10 total across evaluations and Sim Funded. Maximum 5 Sim Funded accounts if they're all $25K or $50K sizes. Maximum 3 Sim Funded if they're $100K or $150K.
Can I hold positions overnight?
No. All positions are auto-closed at 4:10 PM EST each trading day. The auto-close does not count as a breach.
What happens if my Live account breaches?
A 21-day cooldown applies during which all Sim Funded trading, resets, and new purchases are prohibited. After 21 calendar days, restrictions lift and you can resume or purchase new evaluations.
Can I use algos or copy trading?
Copy trading across your own accounts is permitted. Tradesyncer is their preferred copy trading partner. Copy trading between different individuals' accounts is prohibited. HFT (high-frequency trading) is prohibited on every plan.
How fast are payouts processed?
Most approvals are instant. If manual review is required, typical processing is 6 to 12 business hours on weekdays (excluding holidays).
Is hedging allowed?
No. Hedging is explicitly prohibited, including across related instruments (for example, NQ and MNQ simultaneously).
What's the inactivity rule?

Bottom Line on MFFU Challenges
My Funded Futures offers one of the most flexible plan structures in the futures prop space. The standardized evaluation means every trader takes the same test, and the choice of Flex, Rapid, or Pro determines what the funded experience actually looks like. Zero activation fees across all three plans is the largest structural advantage versus firms that charge $150 to $900 after you pass.
The trade-offs are honest ones. Rapid's intraday trailing drawdown is aggressive and punishes open position volatility. Pro sacrifices 10 percentage points of profit split for EOD drawdown and no consistency rule. Flex caps withdrawal amounts and locks 50% of profits per cycle. T1 news trading is only permitted on Flex Sim Funded, which excludes Rapid and Pro news traders. MFFU's operating history since November 2023 is shorter than Apex, Topstep, or Bulenox.
For traders who want plan-level flexibility and zero activation fees, MFFU remains one of the strongest mid-tier options in April 2026.
